And, if you're curious who's teaching and leading worship for the weekend, we are so excited to tell you that.... drum roll...
This year's teaching will be brought to you by the entire Well staff team. Our heart is that this would be a weekend where you not only draw closer to the Lord and to other students, but also that you'd have the opportunity to know more about our staff team and their passion for you and leveraging college students to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
We are equally pumped to share that this year's worship will be led by Malachi and Liz Cole (formerly Liz Ownby!). Mal and Liz are both special to The Well and it is a joy and privilege to bring them back as they use their gifts and talents to lead us in worship through music.
We support this incredible life decision you are making. Sign up right here on this page with the form below before Sunday, September 30 to secure your spot at Fall Retreat!
Katie says, "I learned the value of becoming a part of a community of sincere believers in college. During this time period in life, it is so crucial to find who you are, and it is imperative to find people to surround yourself with who will help you grow towards Christ-like living. And, at fall retreat, I discovered those people. And, not only are they spiritually mature and inspiring, but they are HILARIOUS and SO fun to be around!"
Ray says, "Coming to fall retreat was one of the best decisions I’ve made during my first semester at UA. I came in only knowing a few people and came out feeling like I had found a community where I could grow as a student, person, and Christ follower. Whether it was sitting down having a meal, playing octoball, or being in a small group discussing what we had learned from our speaker’s talk it felt like we were all apart of a big family."
Sims says, "I love that Fall Retreat is a much-needed break to get out of the normal college routine. I am able to retreat to a safe place where I can invest in developing quality community with others both in and outside of my Life Group, as well as having a chance to have extended time with God and process what He is doing in my life."
Heather says, "Fall retreat is the place to unplug. It fosters friendships and diving into the Word with community. You'll stay up late, have dance parties, and play field day games. It is a change of rhythm and scenery. This is why I love fall retreat and I’m so excited to be going back this year!
